Explorers awarded promotions to the rank of sergeant and corporal
This past October, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office implemented a Sheriff’s Office Deputy Explorer program after receiving its charter through the Boys Scouts of America. Currently they have enrolled 20 youth. This program promotes positive social, recreational and community activities for Stephens County youth between the ages of 14 and 20.
